I am a 2nd-year Polymer Science and Engineering major at Case Western Reserve University minoring in Biomedical Engineering, Biomaterials. I am a student researcher at the CWRU School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. This summer, I will be working with the Sam Senyo team, investigating the effects of age-related matrices on cardiomyocyte regeneration. Apart from being a student researcher, I also love baking, singing, and dancing.
Fun Fact: I graduated high school in Nigeria then pursued an International Baccalaureate education in Norway.

I am the director of the Student Affairs IT Group. Our department supports the IT needs of the departments and programs of the Division of Student Affairs and collaborating entities. We provide day-to-day support so that staff can spend more time providing services to students.

Additionally, we are responsible for major programs provided directly to students:
- Website and Services
- OrgSync
- Cable Television
- MagicScreen Video Displays
- Residence Hall Network and A/V

I came to the university in 1993 as a graduate student where I earned my MS in Computing and Information Sciences. I served as an instructor for ENGR131, which at that time was taught in C++. I joined the division as a full-time staff member in 1998.

About John
I am John Killings, Associate Director of Multicultural Leadership & Programming in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Black World Studies from Miami University of Ohio and a Master of Arts degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University (Ohio).

My role in CWRU OMA is assisting multicultural student organizations with finances and programming, advising the Undergraduate Diversity Collaborative, and facilitating Diversity 360 and Sustained Dialogue. I also serve as the OMA representative on the Bias Reporting System, DOSA Professional Development Committee, and DOSA Assessment Advisory Group.

My hobbies include cooking, traveling, watching Netflix, and listening music. I also serve in the local community as a board member of the Bridge Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland.
